Since 1998, Michael L Cowan, along with Jason Piette, built Spice Factory (UK) Limited (“Spice Factory”) into one of the most dynamic, successful and leading UK independent, film production business in Europe involved in production, financing, sales and distribution. Spice Factory has produced over 50 films, working with star casts and creating opportunities for new directing and acting talent. Its film output has received numerous international nominations and awards. Budgets have ranges from US$1M-US$55M.

With Stealth Media Group Michael is focussed on sales and structured financing, and British indie films. Jason heads up the US operations and productions out of LA with a strong commercial potential.

In November 2010, Michael was awarded an Honorary Professorship and Degree at LiUM, University of Human Science and Neuroscience, Switzerland for his outstanding life achievements in the science of cinematography.
